My work is rooted in a fundamental belief: every adult deserves the clarity, confidence, and support needed to transition into the next phase of their lives. This conviction has guided my entire career and is the foundation of Polaris Future Shift. I am particularly drawn to moments when individuals find themselves at a crossroads, ready to grow, pivot, or reclaim parts of themselves that they may have set aside. Helping them navigate these pivotal moments is my purpose.
With over 30 years of experience in continuing education, I have guided adults as they pursue new skills, careers, and possibilities. My background includes workforce development, professional licensure, career transitions, and lifelong learning. As a member of the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) and a professional member of the American Marketing Association (AMA), I remain connected to national standards, emerging practices, and the evolving needs of today’s workforce and marketing landscape. These affiliations deepen my understanding of the complexities adults face as they balance careers, families, major life changes, and the pressures of making decisions that shape their future.
Throughout my career, I have collaborated with various institutions and community partners, each contributing to my understanding of adult learners and the realities they navigate. I recognize the challenges adults face as they juggle responsibilities, pursue new opportunities, and strive to align their lives with their purpose.
I have also served as Director of Marketing and led a self-sustaining education division within a continuing education unit. In this role, I oversaw programs, partnerships, and revenue-generating initiatives that supported both learners and institutions. My work involved collaborating with industry leaders, community partners, and subject matter experts to design programs that address real needs and create meaningful impact. Over the years, I have advised thousands of adult learners, each with unique stories, challenges, and hopes for their futures. These conversations have shaped my understanding of people and how I approach transformation.
Polaris Future Shift was established with this understanding at its core. Today, we collaborate with organizations that are adapting to new demands, expanding their impact, or reimagining the learning experience.
